Each of the hotel’s 90 rooms and suites is individually decorated.
The city’s erstwhile ‘grande dame’ property and hotel of choice for visiting dignitaries, the D’Angleterre’s classic elegance is accented by crystal chandeliers, a gold-domed lobby, and museum-quality art. Its chic Champagne bar, Balthazar, is a popular local spot and its Michelin-starred restaurant, Marchal, not only serves artistically-plated lunches and dinners, but also a lavish, photoworthy breakfast (not included in room rates).
Located in the heart of historic Copenhagen, the hotel has the famed Stroget shopping street and picturesque Nyhavn canal at its doorstep along with many of the city’s top bars and restaurants. It’s also less than a 20-minute walk from Tivoli Gardens, Rosenborg Castle, and most of the city’s top visitor sites.
Perhaps best of all, guests enjoy free use of the hotel’s Amazing Space Spa sauna and steam rooms, large heated indoor pool, and well-equipped fitness studio — perfect after a day of exploring. By Geri Bain
